Ramon Rodriguez, a first-generation Puerto Rican, was born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NYC. His passion for basketball unexpectedly paved the way for a successful acting career he had never envisioned growing up. He is now best known for his current role as the title character and producer of the ABC hit series "Will Trent." Rodriguez has also garnered attention for his performances in acclaimed TV series such as "The Wire" and "Day Break," as well as in notable films like "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "The Taking of Pelham 123.
