FIND A CURE

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women after lung cancer. A woman's chance of having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is a little less than 1 in 8. There are more than 21⁄2 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. On October 6, 2013, this piece was exhibited at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, for the 20th Anniversary of Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey Race for the Cure. Over 20,000 participants and spectators took steps to make a difference by celebrating survivors, honoring those we've lost, and coming together as a community to fight breast cancer. In May 2014, the piece was exhibited at the Paradise Factory Theatre in New York City during "Tough Titty" by director/actor Andre Braugher.
