THE LAND OF OZ

Introducing my youngest niece, Aryanna – she was a sweet and bubbly child, with a sincere personality. On Halloween in 2015, she dressed as Dorothy from the film, 'The Wizard of Oz. When I looked at the photo that sparked this project, it appeared as though she was gazing at something that brought a smile to her face. Inspired by her pose, I envisioned her looking at her three road companions and decided to bring that scene to life in this piece. "The Wizard of Oz" is one of my favorite movies, making creating this artwork a joyful experience.
